The Sound Bath will start with a 15-minute guided meditation to begin opening the heart and end with a 45-minute sound bath. A sound bath is a relaxation technique and meditative experience whereby participants 'bathe' in the sound waves produced by instruments such as chimes, gongs, drums and singing bowls.
These sounds have been found to reduce anxiety levels, as well as enhance mood states
The term bath just means that your body is “bathed” in sound, or healing and relaxing frequencies, waves, or vibrations. Some people are able to meditate deeply during the sound bath. Others relax deeply in a quiet and present awareness that they are unable to find in daily life.
