ABOUT THIS EVENT
Calling all educators!!! We know it is not easy to be an educator of any kind in today’s world. More than ever, educators need support for their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. If you’re an educator, your wellness and wellbeing for a successful school year is vital; not just for your students, campus and community, but for YOURSELF!
This workshop will connect you with other educators, open space to share experiences, and teach you self-care strategies to enhance your mental, emotional, and physical health. You will be guided through interactive practices, empowering you to navigate the unique challenges faced as an educator.
This workshop is your opportunity to invest in yourself and discover practical tools to thrive in the education profession and in life. Walk away with various wellness and somatic practices to use throughout the school day as well as life to connect and create safety within yourself. We will have journaling reflections and community resources provided as well.
Join us for this one of a kind workshop created for educators, designed by education guru Keilah Smith. Ms. Smith spent 15+ years in domestic and international education as a classroom teacher and assistant principal. She was able to transform her life from burnout and compassion fatigue that had finally taken its toll and believes that true learning, engagement and growth happens when we are given opportunities to unlock our full potential.
