ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Join Meditation Teacher and Sound Practitioner, Suzi Swafford for an hour-long sound bath and guided meditation on the first day of autumn- Wednesday, September 22nd from 5:30-6:30PM. After the newness of the spring and summer it is time to settle down and head into the calmer and restful months. The Fall Equinox marks the first day of fall and occurs when the sun passes the equator moving from the northern to the southern hemisphere. The North Pole begins to tilt away from the sun. This results in decreased daylight hours and cooling temperatures. The Fall Equinox is a great time to clear out stagnant energy within the self and at home. Equinoxes only happen twice a year so come take advantage of this rare occasion!
The event will start with a 15-minutes guided meditation focusing on clearing our old energy and planting seeds for new growth in your life. Throughout the sound bath Suzy will play different instruments including singing crystal bowls, gongs, chimes and drums. In sound meditation, the vibrations help shift the brain into more relaxed states. You feel the physical and mental benefits of this meditation immediately. It is approachable for beginners and has remarkable effects on experienced meditators. We can't wait to see you there!
