ABOUT THIS TRAINING
 
Our sold out Sound Certification is back! This specialized certification program is designed to educate, prepare and equip you in the art and practice of using sound as a therapeutic tool and a modality to guide others in a sound bath. This Sound Training provides you with an experiential opportunity to learn how to properly align with and play various sound instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes and more. This program covers a wide range of topics, including the science of sound, the principles of energy healing, and various techniques for sound therapy, such as tuning forks. Through experiential learning and practical exercises, participants learn how to create and facilitate sound sessions to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being for themselves and others.
 
 
YOU WILL LEARN
- history of sound meditation
- the tools available to sound practitioners
- how to hold space and create a safe container
- how to properly play and strike Himalayan and crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, drums and others
- the science behind how sound works as a healing modality
- how to play a sound bath and offer sound healing
- how to analyze and understand the frequencies of sound
- how the mind responds on a psychological level
- incorporating chakras with sound healing
- what is sound healing and how to facilitate
- how to clear energy/space with sound
- how to clean your instruments

No prior experience or instruments are required. Each student will have their own set of crystal bowls to practice with that will be available for purchase at the end of training.

ABOUT CHELSEY CHARBENEAU

Chelsey Charbeneau discovered her life purpose—helping people become happier and healthier—through her own wellness journey. Chelsey is co-founder of Breathe - Meditation and Wellness, is a certified yoga therapist with The International Association of Yoga Therapists and an experienced registered yoga teacher and continuing education provider with the national Yoga Alliance. She is also certified in Vibrational Sound Therapy, Sound Healing,Thai yoga massage therapy, Mindfulness, Mindful-Self Compassion, Reiki I & II certified and prenatal yoga.

After many years in the medical industry she realized the need for meditation on a mainstream level. In 2014 she opened Just B, a meditation studio in Santa Monica, California and in 2016, she moved to Dallas and helped open a mindfulness meditation studio where she served as their Chief Mindfulness Officer. Chelsey has created and implemented meditation curriculum for Dallas Independent School District, Adaptive Training Foundation, Unique Footprints among many others. She has also launched the first 200-hour meditation teacher training in this region and continues her meditation studies with renowned experts such as Pema Chodron, Dr. Kristin Neff and attending Vipassana retreats as taught by S.N. Goenka. Her hard work and dedicated outreach in the community has been recognized and she was rewarded by lululemon as an Ambassador. To date, Chelsey has trained and certified over 300 Meditation teachers.

Chelsey has appeared on FOX, NBC, WFAA, and Eye Opener Television, and her work has been circulated globally. She has led teacher trainings, workshops, seminars and collaborates with corporations nationwide. Her expertise covers a wide spectrum from the strict Ashtanga method to a therapeutic approach. She can make the experienced yogi crave child’s pose and the beginner feel their body for the first time. Chelsey has taught everyone, from children to seniors and the homeless to celebrities. Her goal is always to provide an experience that is nurturing, personal and safe.
