Envisioning Through the Heart
Embodied Practice for Clear Leadership in Demanding Times
People who carry substantial responsibility know the pace rarely lets up. Decisions keep coming. Attention stays stretched. Over time, internal space narrows — and clarity becomes harder to access. In demanding times, leadership depends on perception. When the body stays braced, perspective tightens. When it settles, vision returns.
Join us in this two-hour workshop led by guide, Jane Baldwin as we reclaim the heart as a primary source of perception — one that recognizes coherence and senses direction before analysis begins. Through embodied listening, breathwork, and reflection, you’ll practice widening perspective and allowing clarity to develop through alignment rather than pressure.
We’ll close with a contemplative image inspired by Hildegard von Bingen, a 12th century visionary who taught that clear vision arises when body, heart, and mind are aligned. We’ll use this ancient image to practice perceiving through the heart. This is the first of three heart-centered trainings exploring how the heart envisions, reveals, and restores clarity over time.
Who This is For
This workshop is for people who carry real responsibility leaders, caregivers, decision-makers, creatives, parents anyone navigating a full, fast-moving life who wants access to clarity without pushing harder.
It’s especially supportive if you:
– find yourself more reactive than you’d like
– feel stretched thin, but still responsible for holding a lot
– want to pause and choose rather than operate on autopilot
– are working to rebuild resilience after strain or overextension
– value thoughtful leadership over urgency and momentum
* No prior experience with breathwork or embodied practices is required.
The Experience
Learn to recognize what aligned leadership feels like — as a reference point to trust what you already know so that your bandwidth returns, capacity widens, and you lead from your center.
Ancient Breathwork
A rhythmic breath practice drawing on ancient breathing traditions that increases oxygen and activates the body’s natural release processes to:
– reduce internal bracing that constricts perception
– steady the nervous system so attention can settle
– reopen imaginative capacity — the ability to sense possibility before it becomes a plan
– restore access to clear, integrated thinking
– support calm, grounded decision-making
Participants leave not just with insight, but with a lived understanding of how clarity returns — and how to access it when leadership demands more.
Integration
Reflection is the moment where embodied experience becomes usable insight. It helps translate what you felt into language you can apply, strengthening your ability to recognize narrowing, restore clarity, and lead from a steadier center. Held near the new moon, these gathering honors a time of turning inward — listening before doing, receiving before deciding. A natural moment to let something quiet and steady begin to take root.
This is the first of this Heart-Led Series offered this year:
Sept/Oct explores how the heart reveals truth through discernment and integration.
Nov/Dec focuses on restoring the heart’s capacity for clarity so leadership can remain steady over time.
Together, these trainings develop the heart’s ability to envision, reveal, and restore — practiced skills for leading, deciding, and caring in demanding times.
