ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Join meditation guide and nutritionist, Carly Schafer, in this workshop to help regulate your nervous system and emotional awareness while navigating life’s stressors. This workshop will primarily focus on Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT; also known as ‘Tapping’). You will also learn a variety of other techniques/tools to help your mind and body stay calm amongst chaos.
As we enter a season where life can feel overwhelming, it can be difficult to stay present and in control when our nervous system is on edge. Through the practice of EFT, you can identify hidden roots of emotional problems and begin to alleviate your response to them; from something as simple as unwanted food consumption, to more complicated issues like insomnia.
When we approach life from a more calm and collected manner we can achieve goals, open new possibilities, and begin to create new habits. Learning the techniques and tools in this workshop will help you create space between stimulus and response; allowing you to adjust your relationship to ruminating thoughts, emotions, or fears.
Within these 90 minutes, we will learn the science behind ‘fight or flight’, how to successfully perform EFT in any situation, and other techniques to help calm the body and nervous system. There will be several opportunities for self-reflection and meditation so you leave this workshop with a better understanding of what can trigger you, and how to work through it from a place of conscious emotional awareness.
