New Year’s Eve Cacao Ceremony and Sound Bath
Join us for a transformative New Year’s Eve experience as we come together to celebrate and set intentions for the year ahead. Immerse yourself in the restorative power of the Cacao Ceremony and Sound Bath, a unique combination of ancient practices and modern sound healing techniques. This event will be led by sound practitioners and meditation guides Mellissa Nguyen and Shon Mondragon.
We will begin the evening by drinking ceremonial cacao. Each participant will receive their own drinking vessel, which they can take home and use for future cacao ceremonies at Breathe. This ceremony will create a safe space for self-discovery, healing and connection with others as we raise our vibrations in harmony.
After the cacao ceremony, attendees will be treated to a sound bath using multiple sound instruments such as chimes, metal singing bowls, drums, the healing power of the voice, etc. The sound bath will guide attendees on a journey within, melting away stress and tension, and promoting deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
This New Year’s Eve event is not only a celebration for the outgoing year but also an opportunity to set intentions for the year ahead. Through the combination of the cacao ceremony and sound bath, we will activate a renewed sense of self and start the new year on a positive note.
Light snacks and sparkling beverages will be served after the event to celebrate the start of the new year.
Note: if you are pregnant it is not advised that you drink cacao unless you already have a cacao practice. For all others, as with any healing practices, make sure you drink plenty of water before and after the ceremony.
